Music

Music has always been integral to worship in the Lutheran church. Luther said “Next to the Word of God, music deserves the highest praise. The gift of language combined with the gift of song was given to man that he should proclaim the Word of God through Music.”

Here at Saint James, we hold the same belief. Music used in the liturgy proclaims God’s work among his people and offers an opportunity for God’s people to respond to his work of salvation.
